Inc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 2 ch, Inc in last ch. Now working on opposite side of ch in the unworked back loops: Inc, sc 2, Inc. Sl st in next sc.
F/O, leave a tail of yarn for sewing.


TAIL

Do not stuff tail.
With white or brown yarn, 6 sc into MR.
Rnds 1-4 (4 Rnds): Sc 6. (6)
F/O, leave a tail of yarn for sewing.


COLLAR (OPTIONAL)

You may need to adjust the number of chains needed, depending on the size of your finished dog.
Ch 21.
Sc in 2nd ch and in each remaining ch.
F/O.


ASSEMBLY

Sew head to body.
Sew ears to head.
Fold ears halfway down and tack them in place with yarn needle and scrap of matching yarn.
Sew nose to head.
Sew legs to body.
Sew tail to body.
Place collar around dog's neck and sew collar to itself, being careful not to twist it as you do so.
