LEGS, BODY & HEAD


Legs


Starting with white, sc 6 into MR.

Round 1: 2 sc around. (12)

Round 2: (Sc 2, 2 sc)around. (16)

Round 3: (Sc 3, 2 sc)around. (20)

Round 4: (Sc 4, 2 sc)around. (24)

Rounds 5-9 (5 rounds): Sc around. (24)

F/O and set aside.

Repeat Rounds 1-9.

Holding both legs together and working through both pieces at the same time, sl st through next 3 sts. These slipped stitches will be ignored from now on. Only the remaining stitches count as part of the next round.

Body


Rounds 10-12 (3 rounds): Sc around. (42)

Round 13: (Dec, sc 12)around. (39)

Repeat Round 1 until piece measures approx. 5-6 inches.

F/O and thread yarn through remaining sts.


ASSEMBLY


Sew arms to body.

Sew ears to head.

Sew muzzle to head.

With pink yarn, stitch nose on muzzle.

With black yarn, stitch mouth on muzzle.

With black yarn, stitch whiskers on head on either side of muzzle.

Sew tail to body.





2 years ago today, I adopted my cat (Casper) from PAWS Ohio, and to commemorate, I created this pattern.

The design of this amigurumi was inspired by the famous Hello Kitty dolls, hence the name of the pattern.
