ASSEMBLY
Thread
yarn through the sts of the last row of the button through the
remaining sts and pull closed. Place the button on the bag, making
sure that it will match up with the buttonholes. Sew the button in
place. Repeat for second button.
For
the strap, there are a couple options.
First,
thread one end of the strap through the loop that you created on the
back of the bag.
For
the first option:
Taking
care not to twist the strap, sew the ends of the strap together.
Weave
in any ends and then pull the strap so that the joined part is hidden
beneath the bag.
For
the second option:
Weave
in any ends and then knot the ends of the strap together.
Weave
in any remaining ends and add a lining if you like.
After using this bag for a while, I highly recommend adding a zipper.
