Scrap Bunny Amigurumi

SCRAP (NO DECREASE) BUNNY AMIGURUMI PATTERN

FINISHED SIZE: ~5 inches (from top of ears to base)

MATERIALS:
Lion Brand Jiffy in Silver Heather (A), and Navy (B)
small amount of black yarn for embroidering
size J crochet hook (or whichever size hook results in stitches tight enough to prevent stuffing from showing through)

12mm black safety eyes (optional - eyes can always be embroidered instead)
yarn needle
stuffing


HEAD:
Using A, start with a magic ring.
Ch 1, 5 sc in ring.
2 sc in ea st around. (10)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next st)around. (15)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts)around. (20)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts)around. (25)
Sc in ea st around for 5 rounds.
Sl st in next st.
Fasten off, leaving a length of yarn for sewing.

BODY:

Using B, start with a magic ring.
Ch 1, 5 sc in ring.
2 sc in ea st around. (10)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next st)around. (15)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts)around. (20)
(2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts)around. (25)
Sc in BLO of ea st around.
Sc in ea st around for 5 rounds.
Sl st in next st.
Fasten off.

ARMS & LEGS:
Make 4.

Using B, start with a magic ring.
Ch 1, 5 sc in ring.
Sc in ea st around.
2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts.
2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts.
Sl st in next st.
Fasten off, leaving a tail of yarn for sewing.

EARS:
Make 2.

Using A, start with a magic ring.
Ch 1, 4 sc in ring.
Sc in ea st around.
(2 sc in next st, sc in next st)twice. (6)
Sc in ea st around for 4 rounds.
Sl st in next st.
Fasten off, leaving a tail of yarn for sewing.

ASSEMBLY:
Attach safety eyes and embroider mouth.
Sew ears to top of head.
Sew arms and legs to body.
Stuff head and body.
Sew head to body and continue stuffing while doing so.
