BODY
Start with a magic ring.
Ch 1. 6 sc in ring.
2 sc in each st around. (12)
(Sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st)twice. (14)
(Sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st)twice. (16)
(Sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st)twice. (18)
(Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st)around. (24)
Sc in each st around.
(Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st)around. (30)
Sc in each st around.
(Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st)around. (36)
Sc in each st around for 14 rounds.
(Sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog)around. (30)
Sc in each st around.
At this point, add stuffing.
Continue stuffing throughout remaining rounds.

Fasten off and thread yarn through remaining sts.
FINS
Make 4.
Work sc in front loops only.

2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.

Fasten off.
ASSEMBLY
Sew 2 fins to end of tail (the narrow end of the body).
Sew 2 fins to either side of body.
Stitch eyes using black yarn.
This pattern is absolutely adorable. Great for little kids, and even for presents in general.
